Amy Schumer is one of the fastest rising comics on the scene. Amy made her network debut on NBC's Last Comic Standing in which she placed 4th. She appears regularly on MTV and VH1 on show's such as: Best Week Ever and I Love the 80s. She just filmed a pilot for VH1 in which she is one of the three leads. She was a guest on The Ellen Degenerous Show. Ellen was quoted as saying "Amy is one of my favorites, I expect to see big things from this girl". Amy was selected for the 2007 Montreal Just For Laughs Festival in the 'New Faces' category. Amy appeared on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham. She co-starred in the series Reality Bites Back on Comedy Central. She hosts the new game show 'BFF' on MySpace video. She can be found weekly in any number of Comedy Clubs in NYC or headlining clubs and colleges around the country.
She graduated with a degree in theatre from Towson University and continued her studies at the William Esper Studio in New York City. She is a founding member of The Collective, a NY based theater and production company modelled after the Group theater.
She recently appeared in an episode of 30 Rock, and on Cupid on ABC. She will be appearing in the Bonnaroo music and arts festival this summer in Tennessee. She has also written for Cosmopolitan Magazine. With Dustin Ybarra
