FLUSH is a multi-media, dance-theatre experiment about you, about us, about the stories we all share, the things we want, and what we leave behind. FLUSH is a mystery, an invitation, and a hunt for treasure.. FLUSH is where trash gets a lobotomy and a haircut. FLUSH wants to come over for Game Night and a movie. FLUSH thinks you can do better. FLUSH might be the end. FLUSH might change the world.

Tinged with the psychological thrills of Wizard of Oz, the mystery of Lost, the spectacularly pointless competition of Survivor, FLUSH is set to an original score of heart-pounding percussion and lush melodies by Graham Reynolds and Peter Stopschinski. Andrea Ariel’s choreography – both breathtakingly beautiful and athletically driven – is paired with the shocking wit of Co-Director and Writer Sonnet Blanton and fully realized in a surreal virtual world of video projections created by guest artists Kirby Malone and Gail Scott White of Cyburbia Productions, Production Design Director, Nick Keene and the highest level of technical tools provided by High End Systems and Barco.

      When they say multi-media, they mean multi -media! Flush stimulates your visual senses from all corners. The dancing was beautiful and the character interaction and development was great. The video and Sonnet's voice for the "game" was very well done but the game itself made me longing for another gorgeous dance interlude. Luckily the performers delivered! Collapse

      Amidst a cacophony of sound, light, special effects, song, dialogue and vibrant, flowing dance, a story of life and hope rises from the despair that we, as a species, have inflicted on our planet. Delivered by an ensemble of five, four people interacting with their environment, "Flush" takes us through a contest whose end will save us all until, well, you must see the piece to learn the rest.       Energy, movement, social comment, introspection, music, lights, dance -- however you look at it, this is a great piece of theatre. From the beginning of the universe through the manipulations of the game I was spell-bound by the visuals -- computer-generated polygonal maps, water rushing through the center of the theatre, a woman caught on the other side, a cloak made from six-pack holders, buckets descending from the ceiling, dolls in odd places, a fervent dislike morphing into a feverish embrace. This is a piece to be relished and enjoyed. Collapse
