A remarkable craftsman, deeply literate, intimate, musically & lyrically evocative, Iron and Wine (Austin resident Sam Beam) has become a much loved songwriter and one of the top selling indie artists in the US. A natural storyteller & passionate musician, Glen Hansard (The Swell Season, The Frames) performed one of the most stunningly beautiful shows at the Paramount in recent memory last year. Join us for this unique, intimate evening with two extraordinary songwriters, benefiting the Midwives Alliance of North America, whose goal is to unify and strengthen the profession of midwifery, thereby improving the quality of health care for women, babies, and communities.
