To open the season, we pair two of dance's most recognized ballets, Swan Lake, Act II (Tchaikovsky) and The Firebird (Stravinsky). Originally introduced to American audiences by The Ballet Russes one hundred years ago, the musical pairing of Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky, two of the greatest Russian composers of all time, delights lovers of music and dance.
