The 24 Hour Roman Reconstruction Project
September 19-September 20, 2009
Add Review/Comment
24 Hour Roman Reconstruction Project, or, Building Rome in a Day, an installation by the artist Liz Glynn, presents the rise and fall, within one day, of a cardboard Rome. The project was part of "The Generational: Younger Than Jesus," New York's New Museum triennial earlier this year that featured artists under 33 years of age. In this installation, the artist and a team of collaborators build a model of the Italian capital and then destroy it.
