Tony Nozero's Solo Exhibition -
June 4-June 30, 2009
Add Review/Comment
In June, Tony Nozero returns to the Continental Club showing off his solo gig, but art (not drums) that he'll be rocking with a solo exhibition at the upstairs gallery. The drummer who performed with Drums & Tuba, Paul Newman, and Big Horny Hustler left here 10 years ago for New York City where D&T signed with Righteous Babe Records and toured the continent many times over. With this solo show called "Word," Nozero proves that selling his gear to buy paint, brushes, and canvases was the logical encore. The artist debuts ten small and medium sized paintings (both acrylic on canvas and acrylic on paper) at a reception on June 4 at the Continental Club Gallery.
