Bonnie Jones + Chris Cogburn + Liz Tonne are three improvising musicians from Baltimore, Austin and Massachusetts - each of whom have created a highly personal conception and distinct approach towards their chosen instrument. Their music combines electronics, percussion, and vocals to produce shifting sound events that range from delicate to propulsive to sublime. The trio's first musical effort (from No Idea Festival 2008) was released by the online label Compost & Height. In addition, a video of the festival set is available online at vimeo.com/1614366. "..it's hard to pin down where things began or how the ending was found, but the set was 25 minutes of intensely delicate and moving improvisation.." - MF, i hate music
