Cameras are rolling on a dramatic TV pilot episode being produced by local students in McCallum High School's Film and Media Technology program. The proposed show, entitled "McCallum", is a dramatic series aimed at audiences ages thirteen and up. Based on the fictional Stevens family, the show will follow the lives of two brothers, Dillon and Lake, and their friends at McCallum's nationally acclaimed Fine Arts Academy. Although many of the scenes take place in and around the Academy, the stories will also reach outside the school and into the private lives of Dillon, Lake, and their family and friends. Students have been invited to submit the finished film to PBS for possible broadcast.
