Barcelona-based choreographer Sònia Gómez is known for bringing her personal experiences to the stage with honesty and boldness and in “Mi Madre y Yo” she shares the stage with her mother Rosa Vicente. Set to the music of The Beach Boys, Tina Turner and Kraftwerk, “Mi Madre y Yo” (in Spanish with English subtitles) incorporates text, movement and video projections with theatrical flare to portray the sometimes difficult, absurd, generous and tender moments of an intimate relationship between daughter and mother.
