The Austin Chamber Ensemble presents an encore Austin performance by Trio Contraste, a violin/piano/clarinet ensemble that has charmed local audiences at previous years' concerts. Austin clarinetist Martha MacDonald is joined by South Carolina-based violinist William Terwilliger and pianist Andrew Cooperstock of Colorado to perform rarely-heard trios by Milhaud, Sculthorpe, Ives, Pinchielli, and Schickele, plus a world premiere by Austin composer P. Kellach Waddle.
