Gird your loins for Arthuriosis, an original metal opera based on the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. The legacy of a wizard! The treachery of a usurper! The mystery of a Grailgnome! Live band Council of the Beast employ their alchemical skills to turn base metal into gold as Austin’s wickedest performers, including B. Iden Payne award winner Kathleen Fletcher and Best of Austin nominee Andrew Varenhorst, strut and wail on a grail-shaped stage. From the punishing riffs of “Gods of Teeth and Wind” to the tender power-balladry of “Make Love to Me (On the Table Round),” Arthuriosis will rock you back to the Dark Ages!
