Austin Shakespeare hosts its annual Gala on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 7:00 pm at The Curtain Theatre, Austin's own Elizabethan theatre replica, located on the estate of Richard Garriott on the shores of Lake Austin. The event will feature scenes from our upcoming production of Romeo & Juliet plus a Live Auction that features a week- long trip to Taos, New Mexico and a Sandra Langston-commissioned painting that depicts our production of Romeo & Juliet set in 1940's Texas.
