Austin Shakespeare is currently accepting students for the next session of the Shakespeare Studio, which will take place at Salvage Vanguard Theatre.

The Spring 09 session will be for actors who are interested in exploring Shakespeare but have not had that experience yet. The focus will be on interpretive tools, voice and diction, and intense physicalization, fueled by the belief that sharpening your skills in expressing Shakespeare's work will make you a stronger actor in any endeavor. Each class will begin with a systematic warm up and continue with individualized work. Class will include both the text and video of Barton's Playing Shakespeare.
