    The 11th Annual Dragon Boat Festival and Races are coming to Austin! Watch these 40-foot long boats re-create a more than two thousand year old Chinese tradition on the waters of Austin’s beautiful Lady Bird Lake. Teams from Samsung, Dell, Freescale, IBM, the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, the Lower Colorado River Authority, HEB, and many others will battle it out during a day of fun, excitement and camaraderie. In addition to the races, this family-friendly, multi-cultural event offers music and dance performances, martial arts demonstrations and a “Kids’ Zone” with special activities for children.
