Forklift Danceworks is reprising its sold-out summer show SKATE! A Night at the Rink March 5th and 8th at Playland Skate Center. Aptly described by The Austin Chronicle as "a big wet kiss to the communal experience of roller-skating" The cast includes adults of all ages (oldest skater is 71!) and includes local jam skaters, competitive figure skaters, and even a few rollergirls. Audiences members sit right on the rink to experience close-up the thrill and joy of skating, and the show concludes with a grand all-skate where audience members are invited to join the cast out on the rink. Advance purchase tickets strongly encouraged. This show sold-out upon its premier in July 08.

Admission Info
Tickets: $15 students, seniors, artists, starving skaters; $20 general admission; $35 donor/VIP reserved seating. Children 5 and under free. All tickets include an hour of skating plus skate rental for after the show (a $7.00 value!). Tickets will also be sold at the door for $25 on a first come first served basis. Tickets will sell out!! Advanced purchasing is strongly encouraged!!!
