    Ten Pounds To The Sound is pleased to present the sixth no idea festival 2009 of creative improvised music. . Regarded as "..one of the finest creative improvised music festivals in the world." (Paris Transatlantic) this year's festival brings together a collection of artists and friends from Berlin, New York City, Mexico City, Zürich, Seattle, Baltimore, Houston, Austin and beyond in collaboration with five cities - including three nights of performance in Austin, Texas. Funded in part through Meet The Composer's MetLife Creative Connections program. ** This project is funded and supported in part by the City of Austin through the Cultural Arts Division and by a grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts and an award from the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art. ** Supported by the Berlin Senate Cultural Affairs Department

        Tickets: $10-$20 sliding scale admission per night. Tickets are available at the venue the night of the concert(s). A festival pass is available for $25 and gets one in to all festival events. festival passes can be bought in Austin at End of an Ear or Waterloo Records. passes can also be purchased online through paypal, payable to the email address: tenpoundstothesound@yahoo.com. please include your name in your email message. festival passes will be picked up at the door the night of the concerts.
