Rydell High's spirited class of '59; gum chewing, hubcap stealing, hot rod loving boys with D.A.'s and their wise cracking girls in bobby sox and pedal pushers---capture the look and sound of the 1950s in a rollicking musical. While hip Danny Zuko and wholesome Sandy Dumbrowski resolve the problems of their mutual attraction, the gang sings and dances its way through such nostalgic scenes as the pajama party, the prom, the burger palace, and the drive in movie. Songs recall the Buddy Holly hiccups, the Little Richard yodels and the Elvis Presley wiggles that made the music of the 50s a gas. Grease's eight year run made Broadway history and its recent long running revival put it among today's most popular musicals.

      I loved every second of this show! The energy from the actors were incredible! The amount of work put into this show is very apparent. This ensemble is one of the greatest i have ever seen. The chemistry and the camaraderie between the T-birds was dead on. Not only were the songs amazing but the acting and dancing as well. I would pay to see this show again and again. Danny and Sandy are the best i have seen in many years of watching grease done by other theaters but the Georgetown palace takes the cake. The actor who plays Sonny was by far my favorite. For such a small part he brought so much life to an already briliant performance. He was Brilliant with his physical comedy, and facial expressions - its too bad he didn't have his own song. Rogers rendition of Mooning is also phenomenal!!!! Again so much energy and so real. See the show, its worth every pennie. -Allison Collapse

      Lots of energy and enthusiasm in this production. The cast is really great and it was so nice to see a band with the show. The costumes and sets were fun and the pacing good. It's worth the ticket... Expand

It's worth the ticket price just to see the actor who plays Roger do "Mooning" - hilarious! Go see the show and support a great community theatre. Collapse
