A NEW DANCE WORKSHOP HITS AUSTIN, OPEN TO ALL LEVELS
Amanda Butterfield, nominated for Best Movement and Best Choreographer by the Austin Critic Table creates a four-week workshop full of high-energy contemporary dance. For four weeks only, classes will cover Butterfield's repertoire, giving an insider's perspective on the manic force behind her choreography.
Butterfield's work brings a fresh, vigorous movement style to Austin. The "sheer, unrestrained joy" behind her choreography fills local theater houses, hitting fans at a gut level. Always focused on a good time, "the music for the classes will rock," Butterfield explains, "I've picked out some dance-tastic tunes and I promise to make everyone sweat!"
