Winner of the 1996 Tony Award and Drama Desk Award for Best Play, Master Class is hilarious, moving, and ultimately riveting. In a 1971 Juilliard School classroom, three aspiring voice students meet the celebrated opera diva, Maria Callas, now past her prime. The play goes beyond portraying the life of Maria Callas. It explores the heart of a creative passion that connects life to art, and the immense self-sacrifice that great art so often requires. CHAT WITH THE CAST Thursday, February 5th After the show, stay for an intimate visit with the cast. Give your feedback and learn about their joys and challenges surrounding the performance.
