Najee is one of the pioneers of contemporary jazz. His debut album, Najee’s Theme was nominated for a GRAMMY Award in 1987. Since then, he has gone on to release 10 critically acclaimed recordings, including two platinum and four gold albums, as well as winning two Soul Train Awards for Best Jazz Artist. He has worked with artists like Chaka Khan, Quincy Jones, Lionel Richie, Patti LaBelle and Prince.
