TEXARTS PERFORMING ARTS CAMPS feature Broadway and Los Angeles professional teachers and guest artists working with youth from toddler thru college age in TexARTS' sleek new facility featuring professional 120-seat theater, music and dance studios within 30 minutes of downtown and just minutes from the lake at 620 and Lohman's Spur! TexARTS' acclaimed MUSICAL THEATER INTENSIVE is unique in the nation for the number & caliber of Broadway professional guests and fun, intensive training in music, theater & dance culminating in full-scale production of "Grease" - more than three Broadway professionals join TexARTS' professional teachers June 8-28 $900-$1,200 (full day camp ages 7-college, M-F plus performances) with limited full or partial scholarships available.
FULL & PART-DAY WEEK-LONG MINICAMPS include Hip Hop (Jun1-5); Disney Dreamin'(JUL6-10); Visual Art camp (Jul 13-17); Beach Blanket Blast (JUL20-24); PopStar (JUL27-31); Popcorn Playhouse (AUG3-7); Broadway Babies(AUG10-14) and Movie Making Magic (AUG17-21). FIREBIRD BALLET INTENSIVE with former "Stars of New York City Ballet" and "Phantom" ballerina LIsl Vaillant-McDonald and other great American dance company guests culminating in full performance of the famed, magical & mystical "Firebird" ballet. (JUL6-26). Of TexARTS programs, 3-time Tony nominee Rebecca Luker says: "TexARTS is simply incredible - I wish I had something like this when I was growing up!"
