AFTER SCHOOL IMPROV Improvised After School Specials Come on, Austin, everybody's doing it... The Hideout Theatre bravely tackles the issues your parents were too awkward to talk about in an improvised parody of the After School Specials we all grew up on. Each week six of Austin's finest improvisers relive their painful adolescence on stage for your edification. Whether Jimmy's on "the pot", Suzy's knocked up or Biff's hanging out with predatory mortgage brokers, the Hideout Players turn a single audience suggestion into a cautionary tale guaranteed to delight, amuse and possibly even educate. Go back to school and relearn the most important lesson of all . . . the power of laughter.
