Experience Oscar Wilde's delicious comedy that makes a whipped cream of wit at the climax of glittering 19th Century. In London's fashionable society, the captivating Mrs. Cheverly threatens a rising statesman with blackmail for his youthful indiscretions. In this professional production from Austin Shakespeare, for the first time, the new Long Center's Rollins Theatre is transformed into an Arena with audience surrounding the action on four sides. Co-sponsored by The Department of Theatre and Dance at the University of Texas at Austin.

      The show was a pure delight both visually, as well as the skill of the actors. The intimacy of doing Wilde in the round was perfect! Rollins Theater should be used in that format more often! I... Expand

      An Ideal Husband was quite a production. The costumes were elegant and perfect for the period. I loved that it was in the round and the set was simple which kept my focus on the actors. Loved Loved... Expand
