December 3, 2008
Add Review/Comment
Austin actors respond to the exhibition with an evening of performance that gives voice to the workers in Sebastião Salgado’s photographs. Hear oral histories of American workers come to life through dramatic monologues. Local theater companies adapt Studs Terkel’s honest and fascinating book Working: People Talk About What They Do All Day and How They Feel About What They Do. Collaboration with AMOA, Performance Encounters, Rude Mechanicals, Teatro Vivo, and Zachary Scott Theatre Center.
