25th Annual Dia de los Muertos - Procession & Celebration

Traditional Mexican holiday when family and friends gather to honor and remember loved ones. Event begins with the Procession Plaza Saltillo in East Austin with various sections including the return of the Frida Kahlo look-alikes, tributes to Virgen de Guadalupe, costumed chihuahuas, portable altars, noise makers, mariachis, bands, folklorico and Aztec dancers, paper machie props, puppets, colorfully decorated cars, and sponsored floats. The Procession culminates in Celebration with live music, food, art, entertainment, and festivities.
