Third annual OoBenanny (sounds like "hootenanny") is a fun fundraising event put on by the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival and Miniature Golf Tournament. All proceeds benefit the 2008 Out of Bounds Festival. Featuring four musical acts and comedic acts, and and silent auction of merchandise and services from Austin businesses, the OoBenanny will raise money to pay artists appearing in the Out of Bounds Festival, held this year from August 26 through September 1.
This year's fundraiser promises to be the most exciting yet, including performances by Austin's newest and as yet unnnamed dance improv ensemble helmed by Jennifer Micallef, comedy from the Fred and Joel show, and music and performance goodness from Foot Patrol and Aux Armes. The evening's festivities will be hosted by public access goddesses the Cola Sisters.
