Music Under the Star, the popular World Music series, is back for a fifth hot season! Come out to The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum's Lone Star Plaza for a fabulous, family Friday in July with El Tule. The ever evolving sound of El Tule is a natural progression brought forth by different backgrounds and experiences that combine influences of Cumbia, Latin Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Merengue, Rock, Salsa, and Reggae to create music that is influenced by art, history and culture. Salsa Candela will perform rueda de casino, cumbia, salsa and chachachá as well as dancing with the audience.
Set out your camp chairs and blankets under the Star and listen to local artists perform music from around the globe. Explore the three floors of exhibits - including the special exhibition Dallas: Power & Passion on Primetime TV.
