The Continental Gallery is proud to host Nonet, featuring new works on paper by Meg Stone. The term Nonet is used to describe a composition written with nine elements in play. Meg orchestrates a complement of nine elements to produce rhythmic compositions. Using charcoal on paper, Meg creates inter-dimensional cathedrals of light and darkness. The drawings incorporate linear patterns, inspired by relations and rhythms found throughout nature. Structures and landscapes dance and sway, revealing figures hidden within. These shifting planes lead the viewer through an ethereal labyrinth of information.
