ColdTowne re-debuts their improvised video format, 3,2,1, Kill! at the recently reopened Alamo Drafthouse Downtown at the Ritz. Why is it called 3,2,1 Kill!? We can't tell you. You'll have to find out for yourself. But what we can tell you is this: if you've enjoyed ColdTowne shows in the past, you ain't seen nothing yet. The performers get one suggestion from the audience, and from that moment, teams in the field start shooting a movie that the audience watches while it's being shot and scored live. No scripts! No second chances! Sound like magic? That's because we time travel to pull it off. (Not really). Also, this show features members of a couple of our favorite comedy troupes, The Frank Mills and Parallelogramophonograph. ColdTowne has recently won two awards for their comedy--the Austin Chroniclle Readers' Poll Award for " Best Comedy Group" and the B. Iden Payne Award for "Outstanding Improv Company."
