VSA Texas and McBeth Recreation Center are hosting our annual outdoor hands-on arts festival for kids of all ages and abilities. This inclusive festival is held on the grounds of the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center, 600 River Street, Austin, TX 78701. Kids from AISD and surrounding schools attend the festival to enjoy a day of art making! The festival is open to the public to encourage home-schooled children to attend. We are looking for organizations to provide a “make and take” art activity (minimal paint, glue, or drying time). Materials need to be provided for at least 300 participants and suitable for all ages. We are glad to help you think of an activity!
