 Artist Program by hosting Caroline Reck\, Artistic Director of Glass Half 
 Full Theatre. Reck is spending a month training local puppeteers to perfor
 m FupDuck\, her adaptation of a novella by Jim Dodge\, using puppets she c
 rafted for a performance in Baltimore. In the future\, Trouble Puppet will
  host other puppet artists from around the country and the world\, providi
 ng workspace\, technical support\, and performers for workshops of new pie
 ces\, experimentation with puppet design and performance\, and exploration
  of ideas.\n \nFupDuck tells the story of Jake\, a whiskey-distilling octo
 genarian who receives custody of his grandson Tiny\, who is as gentle as J
 ake is cantankerous. The household is rounded out by Fup\, an ornery twent
 y-pound duck whose singular presence inspires both chaos and heartfelt wis
 dom. Jim Dodge's hilarious contemporary fable of &ldquo\;enormous original
 ity with a giant heart&rdquo\; finds its three-dimensional expression in t
 his production of FupDuck. Witty\, raunchy\, and full of transcendent char
 m\, this tale will captivate audience members age twelve to one-hundred-an
 d-twelve.\nWhiskey makes you immortal. Fences don't keep you safe. You can
  learn a lot from a duck. The White Ghost Shivers explain it all to you.\n
