 ic\, Hear The Dance is an expression from the heart of American Repertory 
 Ensemble's approach to the performing arts.  In the same way that these se
 nses feed each other and the audience's experience\, we feel the interconn
 ectedness of all art forms.\nThis year ARE presents a look in two directio
 ns.  The first half of the program revisits some of our past successes inc
 luding Rob Deemer's Hot\, Crazy\, Fun. and David Justin's critically accla
 imed Just a Regular   Joe.  In the second half of the program we look forw
 ard with work that is new to us and this community like Lar Lubovitch's pa
 s deux My Funny   Valentine to an arrangement of Richard Rogers' work and 
 Inscape by former Boston Ballet Artistic Director Bruce Marks. We also wel
 come the premier of a new work by Austin composer Stephen Barber.  Support
 ing new work is critical to the arts and to the safeguarding of our commun
 ity's identity.  ARE is thrilled to contribute to this important legacy.\n
