Austin Shakespeare (the Austin-based professional theatre company emphasizing plays by William Shakespeare) makes merry with the Holiday Season with bright songs from musicals like Peter Pan, Kiss Me, Kate, She Loves Me, The Light in the Piazza and Sondheim's A Little Night Music.

It tells the story from her perspective and explores the intricacies of her relationship with Hamlet, her father, and herself. Ophelia gives a voice to literature’s most woefully underwritten female. Written and directed by Dustin Wills (nominated for Ashes Ashes in this year's Paynes.)

Ballet East Dance Company explores the realms of awareness, by sharing a collective unconsciousness. By "Pushing Boundaries," choreograhers are aiming to upset conventional norms with an invitation to indulge in the rebelliously creative. The production features themes of personal frustrations, strength and playful beauty, the dichotomy between vulnerability and power, all as a reminder of the importance of justice and peace in this small world; we are one.

A heart-warming, captivating musical treat, drawn from two short stories by the immortal O. Henry is warmed by sentiment and humor, filled with lilting songs, and certain to please audiences of all ages.
